The Georgia Secretary of State describes charity bingo as one of the state’s few legal forms of gambling and states that, other than the state lottery, raffles and charity bingo, gambling is prohibited in Georgia.
Sweepstakes-style casinos present themselves differently from conventional real-money casinos by separating entertainment currencies from promotional currencies and providing no-purchase participation methods. That operating model does not itself create a Georgia gambling license or prove that every promotion, game or account use has been approved by the state.
The practical distinction is between operator availability and state authorization. An operator may currently accept eligible Georgia users without holding a Georgia casino license or receiving formal state approval.
